SUPASCREEN® VS. INTRUDAGUARD® MESH
Have a play with our sliding screen to see what suits your style.
In Australia, Security Doors require rigorous testing to pass Australian Standards. Amplimesh® Security Screens deliver premium performance, while providing a clear view with impressive airflow.
SupaScreen® products from Amplimesh are made here in Australia, using a unique, patented pressure system that eliminates the need for unsightly screws or rivets. The corrosion resistant mesh is formed with a high tensile 316 marine grade stainless steel, maximising strength & durability while providing an attractive, welcoming entrance to your home.
IntrudaGuard®, also Australian made, offers an economical alternative to SupaScreen®. Specially tempered, marine-grade 5052 aluminium, with an aperture size of just under 2mm, means a perfect balance of visibility to the outdoors, while allowing the comfort of fresh airflow into your home. Assembled using an innovative bonding process, the need for unsightly screws or clamps is eliminated.
Amplimesh® screens are manufactured using unique patented pressure systems that eliminate the need for unsightly screws or rivets providing a sleek, refined look.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
While the finishes we use to customise Amplimesh® products are extremely durable, of high quality and weather resistant, maintenance is essential to preserve their “new” look.
Our guidelines include advice for the following finishes:
Powdercoated Aluminium
The build-up of grime gradually absorbs moisture over time. This can damage the powder coating on the mesh & frame. Regular cleaning to remove dirt, dust or other built-up contaminants is critical to maintain the aesthetic appearance. We recommend using a soft, wet sponge with a mild detergent, then washing off with clean water to remove soap scum. Avoid any abrasive cleaning products. Minor surface scratches can be repaired with a high-grade car polish, applied gently to avoid removing the coated surface.
Anodised Aluminium
A different surface tension to powdercoating, Anodised frames need prompt removal of contaminants, again with a soft, wet sponge & a mild detergent, then washing off with clean water to remove soap scum.
Frequency
For most locations, a seasonal cleansing is required, though if you are close to the coast, or have other severe environments, (e.g. industrial pollution), we recommend a monthly routine.
